DOCUTAH provides and exciting opportunity for volunteers with many skills to participate in the Festival. Mix and mingle with film makers, students and an audience from all over the world, while helping attendees make the most of their visit. Volunteer opportunities include –
Theater Venues Team:
DOCUTAH is pleased to be screening films at 8 different venues this year including its hub, the Dolores Doré Eccles Fine Arts Center on the campus of Dixie State University. Volunteers have the choice of venue(s) and time slots. Volunteers set the tone for the viewing experience for each film. Specific assignments include greeting and assisting film patrons, taking tickets, ushering, and distributing and collecting ballots.
Volunteers staffing the Eccles Hub, the center of festival activity, will assist patrons, filmmakers, VIP guests and press with festival information. Specific duties include staffing the information tables, and assisting where needed.
Volunteers assist with set up, maintenance and tear down of various festival venues. They will install and remove DOCUTAH signage including banners. It is helpful if the production team volunteers have access to a truck to move tables, chairs, etc. and can lift 40 plus pounds.
