Red Ochre – The Last Guards of the Holy Fire
The centuries-old culture of the Himba tribe in Northern Namibia is rapidly dying. Since the 16th century, the nomads populate the region around the river Kunene in Northwest Namibia. Many Himba are trying to keep their traditional way of life, but climate change, governmental developmental projects, and the pursuit of westernization by the younger generations are putting their culture in danger.
